This course is designed to teach experienced Power HA for AIX professionals the latest features in Power HA. It covers how to:
Effectively administer and monitor a Power HA for AIX cluster
Implement Power HA for AIX's more complex advanced configuration options
Perform problem determination on a Power HA for AIX cluster
Learn the latest features in Power HA.
Learn to: effectively administer and monitor a Power HA for AIX cluster; implement Power HA for the more complex advanced AIX configuration options; and perform problem determination on a Power HA for AIX cluster

This course is designed for experienced AIX system administrators and support personnel who are responsible for the administration, maintenance, and implementation of Power HA clusters on Power p systems running AIX.
The audience includes:
Students who want to learn the new features with Power HA for AIX V6
Students who wish to learn about how to implement Power HA for AIX in complex configurations
Students who wish to pass the Certified Systems Expert HACMP V6
Technical leaders responsible for designing Power HA for AIX clustering solutions
预备技能
Students should have experience installing and performing standard Power HA for AIX configuration functions, which can be obtained by attending one of the following courses:
Power HA for AIX I: Implementation, Configuration and Administration (AN41) or (AX41) or
HACMP Systems Administration I: Planning and Implementation or equivalent experience.
Students should also be familiar with:
The AIX operating system
The server hardware they are using
The principles of good system management
TCP/IP communications concepts and tools
LVM concepts and configuration
Good Korn Shell script programming
